Living with OCD
Lincoln’s only OCD skills group. A place to learn how OCD works, practice facing fears together, and build skills alongside people who get it.
First cohort begins Spring 2027. Screening starts mid-January.
OCD can feel isolating, like no one else understands the exhausting loop of intrusive thoughts and compulsions. This group is a place to work through it together. I specialize in OCD and live with it myself, so I bring both training and lived experience to the room.
Each session blends learning how OCD works with active practice. ERP is at the heart of the group. You’ll learn to spot your patterns, build toward facing your fears step by step, and practice sitting with uncertainty without turning to compulsions. Hearing how others work through their own challenges often makes it feel less lonely and more possible.

The details
This group is for adults ready to actively practice facing their fears, whether you’re new to ERP or building on work from individual therapy. Being in individual therapy, or on a waitlist for it, is strongly encouraged but not required.
The group is closed, so the same six people stay together from start to finish. That consistency builds trust and real momentum.
